Come to Fort Laurens for a day of archeological discoveries during Archaeology School Day. Students between fourth and eighth grade will learn the importance of archaeology, how it is conducted and how it affects other fields of study. Students can get their hands dirty participating in a mock archeological dig. Other engaging activities include educational presentations, learning local history with museum tours and observing Revolutionary War artifacts.
The event is open to public and private schools and homeschoolers of all ages. Activities meet Ohio educational standards. Cost is $7 per student. Admission is free for one adult per group, with additional adult tickets at $7 each.
